The Roads and Drainage Division of Public Works is responsible for performing all needed repairs, maintenance, construction and upgrades to the county's roadway system, including bridges, drainage structures and traffic control devices.
Roads and Drainage responds to roadway emergencies in order to keep the roadways safe and operational. During winter storms, Roads and Drainage crews clear major arterial and collector roads as the first priority. Secondary roads are cleared as the second priority and local roads are cleared as the third priority.
Roads and Drainage is also responsible for the management of the county's Stormwater Utility.
